... a short stretch of the main road through Yamoussoukro where vendors line the street with their grills and tables, selling grilled meats and accompaniments. my favorite thing to eat is poulet or possion braisé with attieké, made from fermented cassava, has a cous cous like texture:

yum! they have an african festival here every year and i always have to get some attieke... it's SO good. the woman who sells is always remembers me. she's from cote d'ivoire, but i don't remember where.
its so freaking delicious! here they serve it w/ a plate full of tomatoes, onions, various hot sauces. i love it and i'm getting much better at eating it w/ my hands.
Have you eaten at Hollywood yet ? I've been there several times and cannot wait to get back there next year on my third trip to Cote d'Ivoire.
